When Four Seasons Stitchery moved from founder, Jane Benson's father's garage into our present building 30+ years ago, she moved into room #114. In 1991, she moved into our present location. Now we have expanded back into #114;

"I like to think of it as going back home." - Shelley

Four Seasons Stitchery was lucky over the past few years to obtain the Red Shed at Spruce Forest Artisan Village from Memorial Day to Labor Day.  We had expected to be there again this year, however, a storm this spring caused major damage to our shed and to the entire village and we will not be able to open there until reconstruction is completed. We do hope it will open for the summer of 2021. We sell "quilts and other needful things" in this quaint location; sort of a mini quilt show among the other artisans. Spruce Forest is located next to Penn Alps Restaurant in Grantsville. This is a great place to purchase handmade, quality items or to get inspiration for your next project. The hours at the Village location are Monday thru Saturday 10am to 5pm.

"It is hard for me to believe that this summer marks my 11th year of owning Four Seasons" - Shelley

Our 10th Anniversary (birthday) sale will be held Monday, June 29 through Friday, July 3 from 9am to 5pm.  Instead of our normal one day sale, we will be extending it for a whole week.  This will allow for proper social distancing. We will offer 25% off almost everything in the store (ie supplies - fabric, notions, books and patterns). Pre-made items are excluded.  Mark your calendars and bring a friend! Meet and interact with other quilters. We know your stash may be empty after isolation.  Replenish it and help our business to get reestablished from the pandemic. There will be lots of sugar-filled treats: candy, cake, and soda to help you get through the long line. Wagons will be provided!

Join The Heritage Quilters for their annual Autumn Glory show and sale.  Over a hundred quilts on display during the Festival at the Catholic Church in downtown Oakland. The show draws thousands of quilting enthusiasts year after year.  The Festival runs from October 9th - 11th.  This event is subject to change, however, based on COVID-19 criteria at that time.

The Country Roads Shop Hop will be held October 14th - 16th 8am to 8pm and October 17th 8am to 5pm. Kick off day is Aug 8th. Purchase your passport on kick off to receive a free tote bag.
Quilters of all ages will enjoy traveling to each of 9 local shops collecting pieces of a pattern, entering drawings for daily prizes, and enjoying snacks and conversation with like fanatics. Plan a car load of ladies and have a fun day out with us! If you have not participated in the past, it is GREAT fun!!  Give it a try! This year's theme is 'Barn and Barn Stars'.
